KEIR BUIST

Kier is our facilitator for Drama Courses.

He has been working as a professional actor, writer and director for several years and is a current tutor and show director for Artemis Junior Theatre Company as well as part of the team working with Stepping Stones.  

Keir is the founder and creative director of Three Dot Theatre. Having grown up in the area, he loves nothing more than giving back to the community that has given him so much. 

His credits include: Posh, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Shrek, Legally Blonde, Corner Shop Sweets, Godspell, Beauty and the Beast, Private Peaceful, Macbeth, Our House, Blood Brothers, Madagascar. Keir will be playing ‘Ren’ in Footloose this summer at the Wilde Theatre, Jack and the Beanstalk, Peter Pan, Aladdin, AnimAlphabet (China and U.K. tour) and Wrath of Achilles.

His creative credits include: Director (Carrie), Director (Dogfight), Director (Wee Rosie), Director (Tuesday), Director (Death of a Legend), Writer (Toothpaste Kisses, Corner Shop Sweets, Wee Rosie, Death of a Legend). 

Keir will be directing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this autumn at the Wilde Theatre, and can be seen performing there in July as part of the Footloose cast at Artemis.
