Who is this for? This workshop is ideal for anyone who has ever felt like they do not quite measure up in their personal, academic, or professional lives, despite evidence of their success and abilities. The workshop will help you to understand self-doubt and how to foster a more supportive and positive relationship with it. What will I learn? This workshop is designed to explore, identify, and address self-doubt patterns which stop us from using all our skills, talents, competences and sometimes from even celebrating our accomplishments. Self-doubt often makes us feel "not good enough” despite external evidence of the opposite and it impacts negatively our personal life, our relationships, and our ability to thrive and reach our full potential. The workshop will delve into the origins and manifestations of self-doubt, exploring how it intersects with various mental health challenges, including anxiety and depression. Students will hopefully engage in discussions, exercises, and activities aimed at recognising the signs of self-doubt and learning strategies to combat it. How can I use what I learn? The skills and knowledge gained from this workshop can be applied in many aspects of daily life and used to foster greater self-confidence and mental wellbeing. You will learn practical strategies to challenge and reframe negative thought patterns, recognise your achievements, and develop a more compassionate self-dialogue. You may also increase your ability to handle day to day stresses and setbacks, interpersonal relationships, and foster a healthier, more positive work and living environment.
