Course / Workshop Content
Who is this for? This workshop is for anyone who has experienced loss—whether a life-altering event like the death of a loved one or a smaller, but still painful, shift such as the end of a relationship or job change. Research shows that any type of loss can deeply affect our emotional landscape. We want to help you not just to cope, but to rediscover meaning and purpose, no matter where you are in your personal journey. What will I learn? You will gain insights into the various types of grief, from anticipatory to complicated grief, and how each can manifest differently. We will explore the profound impact grief has on our mental health, including increased vulnerability to anxiety and depression. We will identify ways to deal with this that are rooted in self-compassion, mindfulness and we will look at ways to foster resilience and kindness toward yourself as you navigate these complex emotions. How can I apply what I learn? You can use the practical tools in your daily life. These may help you to navigate change, reduce emotional suffering, and stay grounded in the present. Whether this is more mindful awareness, self-care routines, or coping strategies, you will be better equipped to support your emotional well-being.
