Course / Workshop Content

Who is this for? Do you feel overwhelmed with commitments to others and little time for your own personal interests and hobbies? Maybe you are so focused on meeting everyone else’s needs that you ignore your own and just feel exhausted? This workshop is for anyone wishing to develop a deeper understanding of their emotional needs and how to set appropriate boundaries that maintain and preserve their wellbeing. What will I learn? In this course you will learn about emotional needs and how to be a self-protective giver. It will help you identify what you can do for yourself and others in a way that that supports rather than undermining your emotional wellbeing. We will tap onto your values and what is important to you in life and help you to use that knowledge to support your emotional and physical wellbeing. How can I use what I learn? Learning to be a wise giver, learning to say no in a way that aligns with your values, will benefit not only you but others around you. This is the key to healthy relationships. You will be able to pause and become aware of your own emotional needs and be able to align your ways of giving in ways that don’t deplete and exhaust you. The strategies you learn will be useful in your day-to-day life and more general interactions with the world.
