Who is this for? This course is for anyone who wishes to learn more about anger, frustration and anger management tools. Whether you struggle to control your own frustration and anger or whether you wish to learn more about it to support someone experiencing anger outbursts, this course is for you. What will I learn? The session is designed to give you insights into why we experience anger and how to handle it. We help to identify our own triggers and look for ways to cope better with the stress and frustration that can make us angry and antisocial. We can explore our own core human needs and how meeting them can help to reduce anger and find ways to better communicate with others about these needs. You will also learn strategies and tips to help you to pause, think and respond to triggers, instead of reacting emotionally to them. We will learn how to use anger energy to focus on what is important for us and move towards goals. But also keeping our behaviour in line with our core strengths and values. How can I use this? You will be able to use the strategies learnt in your day-to-day life, with friends, family or just those around you. You will be able to identify your needs and tend to them while being aware of others’ needs. The skills you will learn can be applied to everyday life scenarios and situations.
